Winter Evening Photography
November 26th, 2007 by Giles SmithHmm, I really haven’t written anything in a while, sorry been rather busy at work…
Anyway, the other night my mate Bill and I decided to go up to Rivington Quarry, near Bolton on the edge of the Pennines just to watch the sunset and get some photos.
As we parked up I had a great view down the road we had just come up into the sunset, but getting a good photo of it was a little more tricky. The best one came from crouching in the bushes at the side of the road
Now this next one really caught my eye, it is Widnes Power Station, but the smoke and haze give a great effect, and I thought it was quite appropriate due to all the recent media hype about greenhouse gasses.
One other favorite from the trip has to be this one, just simply the last few seconds of the sunset from behind a festive tree
